Hotel Options for 4IWSC
Blocks of rooms in several New York City hotels (Lucerne, Beacon and Quality Hotel) have been reserved for the 4IWSC conference. All of the hotels are located on the Upper West Side, and are located within close walking distance to the 1/9 Subway Line (Broadway Line), the 104 Bus Line, and the 11 Bus Line, all of which will bring you to the 116th St. entrance of Columbia University's Morningside Campus. Taxi service in New York is abundant, and is another quick and convenient transportation option.
Rates
have been negotiated with the hotels
for the 4IWSC attendees, however it is possible that other promotional
rates exist which may be cheaper than those listed here. Links are
provided
to each hotel's website. When making a reservation mention
International Workshop on Structural Control
to get the workshop rate. The hotels in this list will
release the reserved blocks about one month before the conference, so
try to
make your reservation before May 8th.
Note: Several addition suggested
hotels are also listed. There is no reserved block of rooms for 4IWSC
with these hotels.
