Bruno Boley Publishes Book: Wandering Through Europe

Bruno Boley has recently published a book,
Wandering Through Europe, tracing the origins and history of thousands of European
geographical names - cities, nations, mountains, rivers and so forth. It is unusual in that it uses this material in order to gain
some understanding of the various national characters, and the reasons behind some historical developments on the Continent. The
book treats many allied subjects, such as the history of pronunciation changes, Indo-European and non Indo-European
languages, as well as the influence of extra-European cultures and local mythology. A continuous fund of anecdote renders the history
lessons lighthearted and amusing.
