Assistant Professor John Taylor Joins Faculty

Assistant professor John Taylor joined the faculty of the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics in autumn 2007. Dr. Taylor earned his Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Stanford University in 2006. He also worked as a project manager in the private sector for five years.

Dr. Taylor specializes in the investigation of project network dynamics in the global architecture, engineering and construction industry. His current research focuses on the trending increase in global outsourcing of complex engineering services and the impact of integrated technologies on project networks. Both create fundamental changes in the processes, technologies and organizational arrangements required for productive project execution.
