Adjunct Professor Theodore Zoli Wins Prestigious MacArthur Genius Award

Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics Adjunct Professor Theodore Zoli recently won a prestigious MacArthur Genius Award. The bridge engineer is one of 24 recipients of the $500,000 award given by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Zoli is a vice president at HNTB, where he serves as the technical director of the company's bridge practice nationwide. HNTB was founded in 1914 as a bridge-building firm but has expanded into architecture, planning, construction management and other areas.
