Spring 2006 Activities and Announcements

The construction for the 2006 Steel Bridge Competition is beginning
very soon. If you are interested in helping construct the bridge
contact Tucker McClure.
The competition will be held during the ASCE Metropolitan Region
Conference at Rutgers University on April 7-8, 2006.

ASCE and Engineers Without Borders are teaming up to put together
teams of students interested in working on engineering service
projects for the parks in NYC. The parks department has appealed to
engineering students to perform design for several new facilities
and improvements of existing park facilities. To get involved and
become part of the team, please email Elizabeth Long at
eml2023@columbia.edu.
