Carleton Laboratory is proud to announce the successful conclusion of paint upgrades on all levels of the laboratory. While the hi-bay area was already refinished during winter break, the longer summer break was used to perform work in areas that are intensively used by students throughout the year.
Students, researchers, visitors, and clients are now welcomed by a bright laboratory with uniform and clean finishes. Upgrades included the stripping, where necessary, and painting of all walls, ducts, pipes, and columns. The following areas received upgrades:
- 100 Level
- Main testing floor, including the Mindlin Laboratory
- Shake table
- Student teaching laboratory
- Concrete laboratory
- 200 Level
- Graduate student offices
- Lecture space
- Student club spaces
- B00 Level: Various storage rooms
The management would like to thank all involved parties for their support and understanding during the renovation process.
In the end, a picture is worth a thousand words.
