C-14 Required for All Researchers Using Lab outside of Normal Operating Hours
Due to recent revisions of New York City Fire Code, every lab in operation is required to have at least one Certificate of Fitness holder on the premises. Therefore, Carleton Lab policy will require all persons – faculty, staff, and students – using the lab outside of normal operating hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm to acquire a C-14 Certificate of Fitness. The application and certification process is simple and free of charge for Columbia University researchers and students.
