The development of automated testing equipment was possible through the knowledge I gained from Prof. Fumio Tatsuoka, while studying at the University of Tokyo.

Dr. Yoshiyuki Mohri of the National Research Institute of Agriculture Engineering, and Mr. Takeshi Satoh of the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo, contributed enormously to the design of the plane strain device.
