Industry Interaction
One of the strengths of our program is our extensive interaction with area engineering and construction companies. Many of our students collaborate with local companies during independent projects or intern with them during the academic year or summer. In addition, industry representatives regularly visit our classrooms as guest lecturers, support student activities and projects, and serve on the department's Industry Advisory Committee. The relationships that our students form with these professionals will extend well beyond the academic experience.
