Labs and Facilities
Our labs and facilities are renowned for testing and design in the field of civil engineering and engineering mechanics. The Robert A. W. Carleton Strength of Materials Laboratory is our main facility, fully equipped for research into all types of engineering materials and structural elements. It also houses the Heffner Laboratory for Hydrologic Research, the centrifuge center, and the Eugene Mindlin Laboratory for Structural Deterioration Research.
