Freddie Eugene Wheeler Jr
Freddie Wheeler Jr. first joined the staff of the Carleton Laboratory in 2019. He initially started working as Senior Laboratory Engineer and now currently serves as the lab's Associate Manager. He supports all facets of the Carleton Lab's mission, including teaching and research support. His areas of interest are in the fields of renewable energy and robotics.
He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York University in 2015, and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa in 2017. During his time at the University of Hawai’i, he worked as a researcher at the Renewable Energy Design Laboratory, focusing on cybersecurity measures for IoT devices.
