Michael oversees all technology operations for the Department of Civil Engineering & Engineering Mechanics, supporting faculty, staff, and research initiatives. He engineered and manages the department’s HPC and workstation resources, ensuring their reliability and availability for faculty research and course instruction use. He also provides hands-on technical support and strategic guidance to PhD candidates working on advanced research projects.
In addition, Michael maintains the IT infrastructure of the Carleton Laboratory, where he is responsible for the installation, configuration, security, and ongoing maintenance of specialized systems and equipment critical to experimental research.
