Davis Auditorium

Please join us at an exclusive film screening of Engineers at Ground Zero followed by a Q&A and drinks reception on Monday, February 17 from 5 - 8pm.

The documentary features interviews with leading engineers across New York City who played a critical role in the World Trade Center recovery efforts at Ground Zero. Held as part of National Engineers Week, this event honors the unsung bravery, resilience and innovation of these “second responders” in the wake of the tragic events of 9/11.

James Feuerborn, Managing Principal at Thornton Tomasetti and CEEM alumnus, will join Professor Raimondo Betti after the screening to talk about the lifesaving work of these engineers as well as his own personal experience working at Ground Zero.

To finish the evening, we will be hosting a reception with drinks and nibbles back in the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics. All SEAS students, faculty and staff are welcome!

RSVP now! Spaces are limited.
