Jarett Poliner, CEEM PhD candidate, won an award for “Exemplary Impact and Relevance to DoD Research Objectives” at the 2022 DoD NDSEG National Fellows Conference in Boston. As a recipient of the NDSEG Fellowship, Jarett Participated in a poster competition with his peers, where Fellows presented their recent or current Doctoral Research. Jarett’s Poster, “Mechanistic Geometric Learning for Energetic Metamaterials” was judged the best among the Civil Engineering Fellows presenting at the conference.
