His work at Columbia University combines curriculum innovation, industry immersion, and teaching honors with a global approach to engineering education.
Professor Odeh advises governments, Fortune 500 companies, and international organizations on digital transformation, AI adoption, infrastructure strategy, and the future of capital projects. As an Industry Expert Member of the World Economic Forum, Professor Odeh has played a key role in shaping global discussions on The Future of Construction. His research and teaching focus on AI-enabled construction, digital transformation, megaproject leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and the future of infrastructure. Through Columbia University and Coursera, his online programs have educated hundreds of thousands of professionals from around the world, making him one of the leading voices in advancing construction management education on a global scale.
This latest honor adds to Professor Odeh’s remarkable record of recognition including the Columbia University Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching, the Columbia Engineering Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award, and the McGraw Hill Pathfinder award for redefining engineering education on a global scale.
